The Control tower is used as an office building for a private company. It is STRICTLY PRIVATE. The site can be visited, but permission must be obtained at the Lavenham Tourist Information Centre. The staff there will call the Tower for permission. The TIC also has some interesting memorabilia, including books that have been signed by veterans.
